Hawaiian Petroglyphs: these are all actual Hawaiian petroglyphs, representing canoes, chiefs, men, women, the god Lono, and riders on horseback. I use them by themselves, with black, ivory, or imitation granite backgrounds, and also in conjunction with xerox transfers.

These are salt and pepper shakers, covered with imitation granite FIMO, with petroglyph designs on top. I've found that the glass bakes very well - have yet to see one crack in the oven. (77 K)

These are pins made with the xerox-transfer technique. I find old ink drawings from the days of Captain Cook's voyages to Hawaii, representations of old Hawaii. I reduce them on a xerox machine, then lay the image on fresh clay for about 15 minutes. The design transfers, in reverse. I then bake the clay, and later add a border and petroglyphs around the edges. (61 K)
